
The Women's Health Translation Mini-Symposium at Immersion Week 2024 will highlight UBC innovation in the area of women's health to students, investors and collaborators. The mini-symposium will feature one keynote panel followed by a series of breakout sessions to dive into the tactical takeaways in research translation and funding opportunities for those working in the women's health industry.

Morning Keynote Panel - Women’s Health and Innovation (September 25 from 11:15 - 12:00pm)

To highlight UBC innovation in the area of Women’s Health to students, investors, collaborators. This session will focus on research and translation and funding for Women’s health related innovations including:
- Health conditions specific to women, such as endometriosis, postpartum hemorrhage, menopause, etc.
- Health risks that present predominant in women such as multiple sclerosis, scleroderma etc.
- Health conditions where there is a significant difference in knowledge base and presentation in women including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, asthma etc.
