We’re supported by a diverse network of 250+ mentors who bring their expertise, insights and know-how to the venture building process.

entrepreneurship@UBC works with dedicated mentors throughout our regional innovation ecosystem who invest their time, expertise and insights into growing the early-stage ventures of tomorrow.

Our mentors play a critical role in guiding our founders throughout their venture building journeys, working hands-on with teams to deepen their understanding of building a company and broadening their networks.

Are you a seasoned entrepreneur, intrapreneur or industry professional interested in giving back to the community?  Join our Mentor Network.

What you should know about mentoring with entrepreneurship@UBC

As a mentor, you have the opportunity to engage with ventures through Entrepreneurial Explorer and Venture Founder. Entrepreneurial Explorer provides “entrepreneurship-curious” members of our community the opportunity to meet with mentors in “office hours” on a non committal basis.

In Venture Founder, you will be paired with a venture based on fit, working with the team throughout the 12 week program and regularly helping them to review their progress against our 4 T’s Playbook: Team, Tech, Treasury and Traction, a made by e@UBC for e@UBC framework.

We ask that mentors join the majority of sessions per cohort they are involved with.
