Meet the 5 ventures graduating from HATCH this summer
HATCH Venture Builder is a collaborative initiative between entrepreneurship@UBC and the Institute for Computing Information and Cognitive Systems (ICICS) supporting UBC’s thriving community of interdisciplinary innovators. As part of HATCH, teams work closely with our bench of Entrepreneurs in Residence (EiR’s) who lend their expertise and experience to the next generation of leaders creating impact. Teams go through curated training sessions, pitch events, present at showcases, as well as receive office space to create impact at UBC Point Grey and Robson Square, all while having access to ICICS’ state of the art Makerspace.
This summer, we are sending off 5 ventures who are graduating from the program after some 18-24 months of scaling their companies, achieving milestones, and raising capital.
It was a bittersweet moment for the entrepreneurship@UBC and HATCH teams to see all of the successes these ventures have reached so far within our program, but now we get to send them off into the next phase of their entrepreneurial journey.
