Alacrity and entrepreneurship@UBC are excited to present the Climate Impact: Investor Pitch Night sponsored by Boast AI happening September 26 at UBC Robson Square. 

This event will feature 9 ventures from across our portfolios dedicated to solving the complex challenges we are facing worldwide around climate change.

Who is it for?

This event is for our network of Seed to VC-stage investors looking to fuel the next generation of climate ventures creating positive advancements through entrepreneurship and innovation. 

Each venture will pitch in 3 minute increments with an additional 3 minutes for individual Q&A from the audience. There will be networking before and after the formal programming.

About Alacrity Canada

Alacrity Canada is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2009 and has worked to encourage and increase tech entrepreneurship in Western Canada. Alacrity's Cleantech program, established in 2017, is tasked with working alongside B.C.-based cleantech companies to help them commercialize and sell their products and services in new, international markets. 

Through the Cleantech program, over $44M in investment has been generated as a result of the program. Further, $14.498M of export revenue has been generated, and 146 high-quality jobs have been created. Overall, Alacrity has supported more than 95 businesses, helping to create nearly 700 jobs and attracting more than $359.6M in investments for BC-based businesses and millions more in other economic activities.
