About the Event

Translating Inventions to Impact: Breakthrough innovations creating social and economic prosperity here at home, and across the globe.

This year’s event aims to explore the dynamic role of universities in fostering innovation and driving societal progress. Last year, we welcomed over 500 participants who joined us for 25 compelling and actionable sessions. Each year, we grow bigger and better and we can’t wait to share what’s in store for 2024.

You will:

  • Learn about some of the cutting edge research happening at the University of British Columbia;
  • Connect with early stage innovators translating their research into impact through entrepreneurial pathways, including social entrepreneurship;
  • Gain actionable insights from industry leaders and funders on how to start and grow your impact to a global scale.

Join us September 24-25, 2024 for our 5th annual Immersion Week. The event agenda will be added in real-time as content and speakers are confirmed.
