Meet the 17 ventures taking the stage at the 2024 Investor Showcase!
Each spring, entrepreneurship@UBC and ICICS, the collaborators of HATCH Venture Builder, bring together our venture and investor community to create connections and build networks at the Investor Showcase.
This year, we are excited to announce 17 ventures that have been selected to take the stage on May 7 at UBC Robson Square. Designed to feature UBC’s investor-ready companies, the Investor Showcase highlights ventures leading their industries, demonstrating the progress being made through research and innovation.
As part of the Investor Showcase applications, ventures went through a rigorous application process. Semi-finalists were invited to pitch in front of our external Evaluation Committee comprised of:
- Thealzel Lee, President and Director, e-Fund
- Nikita Telkar, Investment Associate, Front Row Ventures
- Jenny Yang, Senior Advisor at MaRS, and Managing Director, Panda Angel Partners
- Geoff Pedlow, Partner, Fasken
