Electronic vaporizers are generally viewed as being synonymous with e-cigarettes. Second year undergraduate student Elliot Mashford set out in 2014 to redefine the electronic vaporizer as just being another generic delivery mechanism for a wide range of ingredients and compounds. Elliot worked carefully with several researchers and together they unlocked the secret behind vaporizing caffeine and the concept of a new consumer product that effectively let users inhale the ingredients of an energy drink came to life.
With funding from the Seed Fund and local angels, the company was able to move into production and secure a range of distribution agreements with several key channel partners. The product is now widely available in a range of retail convenience stores.
