A new series highlighting ventures being created at UBC

Intueri

Intueri is a simplified web-based product lifecycle management system for small clothing designers that don’t want and can’t afford the complex applications used by large players.

This is the fifth in a series of posts designed to share the incredible work UBC is doing to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship, using upcoming UBC Ventures as prime examples. Intueri is a team from the cohort of talented entrepreneurs from the 2014 New Venture Design (NVD) program.

The NVD for-credit course is jointly offered by Applied Science and Sauder School of Business, where teams of 4th year business students, engineering students and students from other faculties come together to create real startup ventures using the same lean launch techniques applied in e@UBC’s accelerator programs.

NVD is a key element of UBC’s integrated approach to supporting entrepreneurship. Venture teams that decide to carry on after course completion are well prepared to work with e@UBC’s entrepreneurs in residence and mentor network to build their venture into a real startup. e@UBC also sees many NVD alumni return in future as entrepreneurs with innovative new venture ideas.
