UBC Startups Earn Investment Offers

Congratulations to Real World Analytics and to MySkillBase, Accelerator Program Ventures Securing Term Sheets at the Recent Plug and Play in Vancouver.

Real World Analytics, graduate of the Accelerator Program in Jan 2013, is focused on providing improved customer data to small and medium sized retailers. Store owners can improve their experience to customers by using cell signal based analytic data to better understand customer behaviour within their stores.

MySkillBase, a current Accelerator Program venture enables users to build and customize their resume. It showcases an individual’s talents through a skill based approach, empowering individuals and educating them on how to be successful once they have attained their degree. The system showcases their talent and connects them with new opportunities for experience.

The MySkillBase team includes UBC graduates, Justin Goodhew, Ryan Booth, and Jake Ford.
