Startup Weekend at UBC Mar 14-16

entrepreneurship@UBC is hosting this year’s “Startup Weekend at UBC”, open to all young innovators who are interested in building their entrepreneurial skillset and sharing ideas with like-minded people. If you’re a developer, designer, marketer, product manager or simply a startup enthusiast, come out and enjoy this event.

Beginning with open mic pitches on Friday, attendees bring their best startup ideas and inspire others to join their team. Over Saturday and Sunday, teams focus on customer development, validating their ideas, practicing LEAN Startup Methodologies and building a minimal viable product. On Sunday evening teams demo their prototypes and receive valuable feedback from a panel of experts.

Location: Wayne and William White Engineering Design Centre (UBC)

Students, graduates and aspiring entrepreneurs alike are welcome to participate. The event features prominent judges from the Vancouver entrepreneurship community, advice from experienced mentors from multiple industries and prizes and resources that will help your venture down the path to success.
