The BCIC-New Ventures Competition is ready and open for entries! We also have a big announcement: Over $35,000 in new cash and prizes available this year.
For the first time, we’ll be awarding an $18,000 Progressa Fintech Prize Package. We’ll also be offering $10,000 of in-kind prizes from video production company PUSHR and $9,000 from co-working space Spacekraft Burnaby.
These are in addition to our many returning prizes, including gold level cash and in-kind services sponsored by BCIC, BC Bioenergy Network, Ernst and Young, Vancity Credit Union, Fasken Martineau, and the Vancouver Economic Commission.
In total, there are over $300,000 in prizes to be won!

Register for the 2016 Education Series
Not entering the BCIC-New Ventures Competition? We still have an opportunity for you to grow your startup. You don’t have to compete to register for the 2016 Education Series.
Registration is open now and offers an amazing value: just $100 for 8 seminars, 2 workshops and a networking event. The series is also free for students, sponsors and 2016 competitors.

Startup Skool Brings Entrepreneurship to Youth
Startup Skool Summer Camps is open for registration. Startup Skool brings youth ages 9 – 15 together to learn about entrepreneurship, design thinking, and technology.
The hands-on programs focus on developing the core skills that are found in today’s cutting edge leaders: Design Thinking, Technological Prowess, and an Entrepreneurial Drive to improve the future of our society.
